Pricing FAQ
Do you take a cut of my sales?
No. PartyKit Uploads charges a flat monthly subscription only — we never take a percentage of your sales or your customers' upload fees. When you turn on per-file fees on Pro or Studio, 100% of that fee goes to you through Shopify's normal payout.
What counts as an upload?
Every customer file that successfully attaches to a cart, including duplicates and re-uploads. Failed uploads (size-rejected, MIME-rejected, content-moderation-blocked) don't count against your quota. Files that customers remove before checkout still count for the month they were uploaded.
What happens if I hit my monthly limit?
Customers see a friendly notice that uploads are temporarily paused for the month. Existing carts and orders are unaffected. You can upgrade to a higher plan instantly through Shopify Billing — the new limit applies the moment the upgrade clears.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, any time, in either direction. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle so you don't pay twice. Plan switches are handled by Shopify Billing — go to your PartyKit admin → Plan.
Is there a free trial?
Every paid plan (Starter, Pro, Studio) includes a 14-day free trial. The Free tier is genuinely free forever — no card required, capped at 50 uploads per month.
Refund policy?
If you cancel mid-cycle, Shopify Billing handles the proration automatically. We don't lock you in.
